Lytro Immerge is a light-field camera rig designed for cinematic Virtual Reality.

As someone who grew up on MTV and the emergence of the music video, this experience made it seem like I’d never even seen a TV - Geekwire editor Kurt Schlosser

Justin Timberlake’s Montana: An Immersive Music Experience brings you onstage to witness Timberlake performing his song Montana against a changing backdrop of mountains, sky and magical scenery. This was made for the launch of the Holodome, a spherical room offering a 360-degree video, sound and haptic experiences without the use of the headset, at the Museum of Pop in Seattle Washington. It was captured using the Lytro Immerge lightfield camera in super high-resolution 9.2K 360. Lytro was in partnership with the late Microsoft co-founder, Paul Allen’s Vulcan Productions, as well as MPC, VALIS Studio, and ECCO VR. Lytro was acquired by Google after this project.

As a senior render technical director, I reported directly to Head of Rendering, where I developed render monitoring tools for their hybrid cloud rendering pipeline. The render team had to monitor hundreds of on-premise and cloud render nodes, for weeks at a time, 24/7. My tools lead us to be able to detect issues faster, and thus solve them quicker, in order for us to reach our deadlines within a given budget. In addition, i provided support to CG Artists, Programmers, and Researchers on render related issues. And finally, I interviewed incoming candidates for technical positions on the rendering team.
