Magic Leap's Digital Humans Team focused on photorealistic humans in mixed reality.

Magic Leap Digital Humans group focused on showcasing photorealistic humans, whether it is full CG or volumetrically captured, in mixed reality through their Augmented Reality headset, the Magic Leap One. Two notable projects that went public was Mica, our fully CG interactable digital human, and our collaboration with Royal Shakespeare Company, where we volumetrically captured a Shakespearean monologue, The Seven Ages of Man from As You Like it.

As a pipeline engineer, i focused on their review/publish 3D digital human pipeline, as well as the human photogrammetry pipeline that takes place on our camera stages. In addition, i implemeted their first use of hybrid cloud rendering and refactored alot of legacy pipeline code to utilize open source and follow visual effects industry standards.
